I really doubt if they'll pick up A-Rod. They don't need him. The main difference between the Yanks and the Sox is that the Red Sox are a team that plays as a team. The Sox players know their place and their roles. The Yankees are a bunch of in-it-for-themselves super-stars.
Just ask Bret Favre, he'll tell you that team chemistry is just as important as talent.

What do you think about Joe Torre going to manage the Dodgers?

in total agreement with you - and Brady would say the same thing.

i think it is great for Torre. He is a damn good manager imho. He'll do wonders for the dodgers, who have a precent decent team. He got screwed by bunch of classless jerks.

I'm also really interested in who is going to stay with the Yanks now. Rivera and Posada both said they were waiting to see what happened with Torre before they resigned or not. I hear Don Mattingly is going with Torre also. The Yanks might lose a lot more than they bargained for.

What's going on with Brady? That guy is on his own planet right now. As of right now, the Super Bowl is the Patriots to lose. Barring injury, it's theirs.

would love to see Rivera and Posada leave - that would be GREEEEEAAAT!!! I dont blame Mattingly a bit for leaving either - he and Torre work well together.

Brady with his supertrio of receivers is definitely on another planet.... and so is Moss - holy shit!! what hands. Moss against virtually any corner/safety in the league = taking candy from babies.

this week's game should be awesome. my prediction Pats win 38-27

just got back from a meeting and sports radio in LA is not quite sold on Torre coming. There is a press conf or something at 4PM. The thought is that they are going after A rod and he still harboprs resentment to Torre for numerous things, including batting him 8th in the playoffs last year. Between this nonsense and that bigger crybaby Kobe Bryant I think I'm getting sick.

Oh yeah, I'd bring back Rick Burleson today rather than get A-rod with the sox
